I was born and raised in Lima and a graduate of Lima Senior High School. I am married to my wife, Laura, who is a dedicated first grade school teacher. We have one son who attends The Ohio State University.
I received my bachelor’ degree from The Ohio State University in Business Administration, majoring in accounting, and a varsity swimmer for 4 years. I was admitted to practice law in 1988 after graduating from Capital University Law School. My practice focuses on estate planning, probate, business transactions, and real estate law. I served as legal counsel to the Perry Township Trustees for 12 years. I am the President and owner of Northwest Title Agency Co., and a title agent for Old Republic Title. I am actively involved in the community, having served as past President of the Boards of the Lima Family YMCA and United Way of Greater Lima. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees of the Lima Family YMCA and the Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Lima. I am also an advisory board member to The State Bank, a member of the Development Committee to the Lima Memorial Hospital Foundation, and past chair of the Development Committee of St. Rita’s Hospital. I have served for 16 years as a member of the Ohio State Bar Association Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section Council, and am currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Allen County Bar Association.
