2023 Scholarship Essay Winner Jacob M. Bonifas
A $1,000 scholarship was awarded to the Allen County Bar Association Scholarship Essay winner. This year’s topic was “Should schools ban student’s use of artificial intelligence programs, such as ChatGPT?”. The winner was Jacob M. Bonifas from Delphos St. Johns High School. Jacob is the son of Nate and Gina Bonifas. He intends to attend Bowling Green State University to study business with a focus in marketing and finance. Congratulations to him and best wishes for his future.
2019 Liberty Bell Award Winner
The Allen County Regional Planning Commissioner, Thomas Mazur, right, accepted the Allen County Bar Association’s 2019 Liberty Bell Award on behalf of Gary Beasley, former Allen County Coroner. Presenting the award was Lima Law Director Tony Geiger.
